Visual Identity & Web Design for a Horizon Europe Project

Mockup of Responsive Modern WordPress Web Pages

The Challenge

Background: MERGE is a Horizon Europe funded initiative comprising 16 distinct partners. They focus on finding pathways toward inclusive and sustainable wellbeing.

The Problem: The consortium lacked practical tools to communicate their work. They needed a central website to house their research. They also required standardized templates to present complex statistical data clearly to policymakers.

The Objective: The primary goal was to build a cohesive visual identity and digital presence. This needed to position MERGE as a credible authority in beyond-GDP economics.

The Solution

Visual Identity

We developed a comprehensive brand system. This unified the entire project under one clear and accessible visual language.

Content & Asset Creation

We designed a modern website and produced branded templates for presentations and reports. We also crafted engaging infographic illustrations and a tri-folded brochure to support their communication efforts.

Implementation & Usage

The new visual assets were integrated directly into the consortium’s daily workflow. Researchers and policymakers now use these tools to present data and host international events.

The Impact

Core Outcome

The project delivered a structured and dynamic brand framework. The website effectively houses resources, event calendars, and policy briefs.

Customer Benefit

Stakeholders can now easily navigate complex research and discover actionable policy instruments. The standardized templates ensure that dense statistical data is communicated clearly to policymakers.

Long-Term Value

The unified brand guidelines and ready-to-use templates save valuable time across the consortium. Researchers can now independently publish reports and present data with a consistent, professional look. This practical toolkit ensures MERGE maintains a clear, authoritative voice across all their public communications.
