Branded Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation Template Design

The Challenge

Background: The Institutional Architecture Lab was formed in 2023 to help the institutional design community coalesce and grow. They aim to improve the global practice of designing institutions to address today’s most pressing systemic issues.

The Problem: As a newly established global initiative, TIAL lacked a unified visual language. There was a clear need to bridge the gap between their deep academic expertise and their external image. They also required a highly functional digital hub to share complex research without overwhelming the user.

The Objective: The goal was to build a brand identity that expresses rigorous scientific expertise while remaining accessible. We needed to create a cohesive digital experience to support their field-building efforts and advisory work.

The Solution

Visual Identity & Digital Presence

We designed a comprehensive visual identity starting with a modern logo, typography, and color palette. This established a strategic foundation for their entire brand communications.

Content & Asset Creation

We defined a distinct art direction and acquired a curated set of stock photography and illustrations. We also developed custom, branded templates for Google Slides, Google Docs, and Google Sheets. These ensure strict consistency across all published reports and presentations.

Implementation & Usage

The new visual language was integrated into a custom website. This digital presence features robust news, blog, and event functionalities. It includes intuitive custom templates for publishing resources like toolkits, working papers, and case studies.

The Impact

Core Outcome

The project delivered a seamless and highly professional brand presence. TIAL now has a unified visual identity that matches the high professional standing of their founding experts and global partner organizations.

Customer Benefit

The renewed web experience allows policymakers, researchers, and public managers to easily navigate complex resources. Users can intuitively access toolkits, reports, and event information.

Long-Term Value

The clear visual system provides a stable foundation for TIAL to expand its influence and establish itself as a central hub for the community. TIAL now has the practical tools to lead the discussion on institutional design.
