Exhibition
3-28 June 2025 at Kalliola Helsinki

Instinct and Intimacy
This two-part exhibition, featuring a photo installation and a video short, celebrates queer expression and energy. The exhibition explores queerness by looking at kink and the different forms of intimacy and confronting traditional gender roles and power dynamics. The photos are focused on intense rope play, trust and balance between pain and pleasure. The video is presenting non-normative behaviour that questions rightfulness and punishment. Both parts explore themes of nature and animalism.
The exhibition is organized in collaboration with Kalliola and a part of Helsinki Pride.
The event is sponsored by Thai Vegan kitchen and Kåska.
